Hannah Lindemuth have been elected First Team All-UAA by the women's basketball head coaches in the University Athletic Association.

This is the third time that Okoniewski has earned All-UAA honors in basketball and the second time for Lindemuth. The conference did not choose an All-UAA team in the 2020-21 season due to the pandemic. Okoniewski was named the UAA Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-UAA honors in 2018-19. She was named First Team All-UAA in 2019-20 and now in 2021-22.

Lindemuth was named the UAA Rookie of the Year in 2019-20 and earned Second Team All-UAA honors. This is her first season reaping First Team All-Association plaudits.

Okoniewski (Selkirk, N.Y./Bethlehem Central) was a dominant player inside for Rochester over her four years. This season, she averaged a career-best 13.0 ppg., shooting .449 from the floor and .724 from the foul line. She led the Yellowjackets in rebounding (7.4 rpg.), in steals (44), and in blocked shots (45). In the league statistics covering 14 games, she averaged 14.6 ppg., hitting .455 from the floor, .710 at the line, with an 8.2 rpg. average, 27 blocks, and 26 steals.

Adding in her 25-game statistics this season, Okoniewski raised her career totals to 965 points, 580 rebounds, 140 blocked shots, and 108 steals. She is fourth in career blocked shots, third in career blocked shots average per game (1.8), ninth in scoring average (12.5 ppg.), 10
th in defensive rebound average (4.9), and 16
th in career points.

Lindemuth (Oakdale, PA/West Allegheny) was a perimeter scorer in an up-tempo offense. For the season, she led the team in scoring with a 14.6 ppg. average, hitting .401 from the floor, .344 outside the arc (44-128), and .797 at the line. She added 2.8 rpg., 43 assists (second overall), 14 bocks, and 29 steals. She topped 20 points five times, including a season's-high of 27 points at Emory on February 26. In the UAA, she averaged 15.6 ppg. on .395 accuracy from the floor, .324 outside the arc (24-74), and .786 at the line. She had 26 points, six blocked shots, and 20 steals. Her rebound average was 2.3 rpg.
The Yellowjackets finished tied for second in the UAA race.

Through three seasons (Rochester played six games in 2020-21), Lindemuth has 758 points. She has 100 three-point goals (eighth overall), 298 three-point attempts (ninth). She is sixth in career scoring average (13.8 ppg.), third in free throw percentage (.823), and seventh in average minutes played per game (28.0).

Rochester played 12 games against regionally-ranked opponents this season. UR was 16-9 overall and 8-6 in the UAA. The Yellowjackets were tied for second place in the standings with Emory and Washington-St. Louis. Rochester was the only team to defeat NYU. The Yellowjackets won, 57-53, in the Palestra on January 28. NYU avenged that loss a week later in New York City. UR was 4-2 against teams selected for the NCAA Division III playoffs. The Yellowjackets defeated SUNY New Paltz, Southern Virginia, and Ithaca. They split with NYU, and lost at St. John Fisher.

Rochester and Association champion NYU were the only teams with two First Team honorees. The remainder of the first team includes Belle Pellecchia and Jenny Walker of NYU, Maya Arnott of Washington, Claire Brock of Emory, and Klaire Steffens of Chicago.

The UAA Second Team honorees are Natalie Bruns and Jordan Janowski of NYU, Caitlyn Clendenin and Catherine Or of Carnegie Mellon, Grace Hynes of Chicago, Abbey Lawrence  of Case Western Reserve, and Camila Casanueva of Brandeis.

Five players were acknowledged as Honorable Mention All-UAA: Jessica Brooks and Samantha Weaver of WashU, Emma Reaves of Brandeis, Isabella Mills of CWRU, and Anna Arato of Emory.

NYU swept the individual awards, including Coaching Staff of the Year: Walker was the Player of the Year. Pellecchia was the Defensive Player of the Year and the First-Year Rookie of the Year. Bruns was the Sophomore Rookie of the Year. The NYU coaching staff of the year members were head coach Meg Barber, assistant coaches Audrey Cunningham, Nattie Respondek, and Emiko Smith. Since the UAA did not have a season in 2020-21, the Sophomore Rookie of the Year award was created for the 2021-22 season only.
