PITTSFORD, N.Y. –
Lisa Pink set a facility record in winning the 800 meter run at the 2022 All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships at Nazareth College on Saturday afternoon. Pink was timed in 2:14.25. That result places her 16
th on the list for times in the 800 meter event.

Rochester's women finished in eighth place out of 45 teams, including 31 teams which scored at least one point in one of the 18 events. Rochester finished with 34 points, scoring in the 4x400 relay, the 400 meters, 800 meters, 3,000 meters, the 60 meter hurdles, and the pole vault.

Kristin Hardy ran a :58.87 in the 400 meter run to finish second in the event. On Friday, Hardy anchored the 4x400 relay for Rochester, timed in 3:59.77. The runners were
Madeline O'Connell,
Lisa Pink,
Susan Bansbach, and Hardy.
Grace Iltis took fifth place honors in the 3,000 meters with a time of 10:23.64.

On Friday,
Ashley Heffernan ran a :09.36 in the trials of the 60 meter hurdles. On Saturday in the finals, she finished eighth with a time of :09.89.

Yellowjacket field points came from O'Connell and Heffernan in the pole vault on Friday. They both cleared 3.37 m. (11' ¾"). O'Connell secured seventh place with one fewer missed vault than Heffernan. In the triple jump,
Alyssa Hoogs just missed a podium finish. Her leap of 11.23 m (36' 10 ¼") was a personal best and second longest jump in UR history.
