Five individuals from teams who were highly successful at conference championships last weekend were named Liberty League weekly award winners on Monday afternoon.

Junior infielder Hannah Keiper was named the Softball Performer of the Week, while first-year teammate was selected as the league's Softball Rookie of the Week. Additionally, Susan Bansbach from the women's track and field team was selected as the conference Women's Track Performer of the Week, with Cora Rose being honored with women's track and field Rookie of the Week honors. Cole Goodman from the men's track and field team was also selected as the Rookie of the Week in his sport.

Keiper was named the Most Outstanding Performer at the Liberty League Tournament over the weekend, helping Rochester claim the conference tournament title, its tenth in school history. The junior infielder had just two hits, but both were home runs for the Yellowjackets. She added three runs, four RBI and a walk during the week. The first home run came in UR's winners bracket game against RPI, coming in UR's big 5-run third inning which took the lead in the eventual 6-4 win. Her second blast was in the title clinching game, a 2-run shot in the first inning, which proved to be the game-winning hit in the 2-1 contest over RPI.

Keys went 2-0 in the circle for Rochester, helping the Yellowjackets claim the conference tournament title at the Liberty League Championship over the weekend. The first-year right hander tossed 10 innings and finished with a 2.80 ERA after giving up just six hits and four runs. She walked two and struck out one in her two wins. In game one of the tournament Thursday, Keys was nearly perfect, as she allowed just one hit in a 9-0 UR victory over Skidmore. She took the ball again in UR's game two and earned the win against RPI on Friday, going five-plus innings while allowing five hits, four runs and two walks with one strikeout.

Bansbach was named Liberty League Female Track Performer of the Meet at the Liberty League Championships as she helped Rochester to its first ever Liberty League Women's Track and Field title. The junior sprinter won three conference titles and set three new meet records while adding a runner-up finish in her fourth event. Bansbach set a new Liberty League conference record in the 200 meters, running a time of 24.81 seconds, currently ranking #27 in Division III. Additionally, the junior ran the outdoor 800 meters for just the fifth time in her career and set a meet record of 2:12.84 to rank #19 on the D3 performance list. Bansbach's third victory came on Rochester's 4x100 meter relay which posted a meet record time of 48.43 seconds. Her fourth event, the 100 meters, saw Bansbach end as runner-up with a personal-best time of 12.40 seconds.

Rose had a pair of third place finishes at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships providing key points in UR's quest for the conference title. She finished third in the triple jump with a season-best mark of 10.69 meters and also ended third in the discus throw with a distance of 37.14 meters, an All-Atlantic Region qualifier. Rose's third event was the hammer throw where she earned a 14th place finish with a personal-best throw of 36.15 meters.

Goodman placed in the top-5 of both events he entered at the Liberty league Championships, coming in the horizontal jumps. The first-year captured the Liberty League title in the triple jump with a mark of 14.20 meters, just one centimeter off his personal best, earning an AARTFC qualifying mark. Goodman also finished fifth in the long jump with a leap of 6.66 meters. His scoring performances helped the Yellowjackets place in second among eight teams at the league championships.
