And while the Spartans tallied nine corner kicks, UR held Case Western Reserve to just five shots off the nine corners, three of which were blocked, and another two sailed wide.
The Spartans earned a trio of corners in the 15th and 16th minutes, but Matt Vatne's shot was blocked, and a foul gave the Yellowjackets the ball and ended CWRU's threat.
The 'Jackets' lone opportunity came in the 25th minute, as
Andrew Moglianesi broke through a fired a shot that bounced off a pair of Spartan defenders toward goal, but Bradley Winter made the save.
Another corner for CWRU in the 27th minute was followed by a pair of shots that went wide, while in the 45th minute, Jacob Salmon's attempt was blocked, and the two sides remained scoreless, heading into the locker room.
Rochester would fend off another salvo of Case Western Reserve corners to open the second half, with another pair of shots wide while Camden Larson's was blocked.
Then on the counter-attack in the 66th minute, CWRU had numbers in UR's offensive zone, but Lukas Dalakis's cross went untouched, and Rochester cleared it away to prevent any damage.
CWRU would again tally a trio of corners over the final five minutes, but again, two of Matt Vatne's attempts were both blocked, fended away by the 'Jacket defense, while his final shot went wide, sealing the scoreless draw for both sides.
The Yellowjackets earn their second-straight conference draw, moving to 6-1-5 (0-1-2 UAA), while Case Western Reserve is now 7-2-2 (1-1-1 UAA) on the year.
