Jett Genovese, received Liberty League weekly honors, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Diggins was named the Liberty League Football Defensive Performer of the Week, while Genovese earned Rookie of the Week accolades.

Diggings led the Yellowjacket defense in their shutout against Hilbert on Saturday. The junior linebacker paced the 'Jackets with 14 tackles (5 solo), also forcing a fumble in the victory. Rochester's defensive effort held Hilbert to more than 50 yards under their season rushing average and 2.7 yards per carry while also allowing just 167 yards in total offense.

Genovese had a terrific game in the Yellowjackets' first Liberty League win of the season. The first-year finished the day with five rushing attempts for 64 yards and two touchdowns, while also completing 4-of-4 pass attempts for 40 yards.

Genovese plowed over several defenders on a 15-yard TD run early in the third quarter to put the Yellowjackets up 24-0. Later in the third quarter, he showcased his speed on a 34-yard touchdown run to increase the URochester lead.
