Senior
Aviva Bock was selected to the All-Liberty League First Team in 2025, while classmate
Anushka Aritharan was honored on the Liberty League Second Team. Both were awarded their first All-Conference accolade, as submitted by coaches from across the league to the conference.
Â
Bock was a member of the Rochester varsity eight lineup for the entirety of the spring season, also competing with UR's top boat at the Head of the Fish during the fall. Additionally, the senior saw time in the varsity four boats at the Head of the Charles and Head of the Genesee, picking up some of Rochester's top results of the season in those races.
Â
For Aritharan, the senior was in the varsity eight and varsity four boat in every race that Bock was, also chipping in a competition at the season-opening Cayuga Sprints, where she paired with a UR teammate to win the lightweight double event.
Â
Overall in 2024-25, Bock and Aritharan helped the varsity eight finish fourth in the Liberty League, 15th at the NIRC Championships and tenth at the Head of the Fish. Rochester's varsity four also claimed fourth place at the Head of the Genesee and was 13th of 39 teams at the prestigious Head of the Charles, defeating several top ranked teams in the process.
