The University of Rochester rowing team secured two All-Liberty League honors on Friday, with seniors
Jinx Allison and
Ava Prevey-Sullivan being named as All-Conference performers for the 2025-26 season.
Â
Allison was selected to the Liberty League First Team, while Prevey-Sullivan was a Second Team honoree following submissions from the conference's coaches to the league. Teams are awarded All-League spots based on their performance at the Liberty League Conference Championships.
Â
Both received their first All-Conference honor this season, with 2025-26 being the fifth straight year that URochester has had at least two All-Liberty League rowers.
Â
Back in the fall, Allison and Prevey-Sullivan teamed together to compete at the Cayuga Sprints, ranking second among six entries in the pair category to open the season. The duo later competed in UR's top varsity eight boat at the Head of the Genesee and Head of the Fish, ranking third and tenth, respectively. Each also competed for the 'Jackets at the Head of the Charles Regatta, rowing in the varsity four 'A' entry.
Â
Switching over to the spring, both seniors remained in the varsity eight boat in all four competitions, aiding in URochester placing seventh at the New York State Championships, third at the Liberty League Championships and 13th at the NIRC Championships.
