Following terrific weeks on the soccer pitch for the University of Rochester, three individuals were awarded weekly athletic honors from the University Athletic Association.

A pair of first-year's from the women's soccer team, goalkeeper Eleni McGuire and forward Delia McMullen, were the Defensive and Offensive Athletes of the Week, respectively. Junior midfielder Milos Bisenic was awarded the men's soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week.

McMullen was a solo winner this week, while McGuire and Bisenic both shared their awards with individuals from Emory University teams.

For UR, McGuire posted back-to-back shutouts during a 2-0-0 week on the pitch, helping the Yellowjackets take down SUNY Geneseo 1-0 on Wednesday and #7 Misericordia 1-0 on Saturday. The first-year keeper faced four shots and made two saves in the win over Geneseo, and then followed that up with a 4-save performance against Misericordia on Saturday, facing a total of 13 shots. McGuire played all 90 minutes in each contest and has yet to allow a goal in her three starts this season.

McMullen scored both goals for the Yellowjackets as Rochester earned a pair of 1-0 victories during the week to remain unbeaten on the season. On Wednesday against SUNY Geneseo, McMullen scored in the 77th minute for the game-winner and ended the contest with two shots on goal and 30 minutes played. Later on in the week, McMullen helped UR take down #7 Misericordia with a 22-yard strike into the top-left corner of the net during the 84th minute. She ended the day with three shots, one of which was on goal, in 32 minutes.

Bisenic nearly single-handedly helped Rochester rally from two goals down in Saturday's 3-2 win over York (PA), finishing with his first career hat trick, scoring all three goals in an 8-minute span during the second half. The junior midfielder converted a penalty kick in the 56th minute then tied the game in the 61st minute before scoring the game-winner in the 64th minute. He ended the contest with a game-high seven shot attempts (four on goal) in 54 minutes played.
