Dhirren Rajarathinam opened play at the 2026 College Squash Association (CSA) National Collegiate Individual Championships on Friday at Open Squash FiDi.
Aceves Moreno squared off with Harvard's David Costales, seeded 9-12, in his opening round matchup and fell in three games: 1-11, 4-11, 2-11. While Rajarathinam faced Yale's Lachlan Sutton, seeded 13-16, and dropped a series of close games, 6-11, 8-11, 6-11.
Both 'Jackets move onto the consolation bracket, where Aceves Moreno will face Drexel's Yuri Pollak Pelbart at 10:50 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24, in Plate Pool A, while Rajarathinam heads to Plate Pool B for his matchup against Amherst's Devon Osborne at 11:40 a.m.
Aceves Moreno and Rajarathinam and the rest of the competitors will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 24, for day two of the 2026 CSA National Collegiate Individual Championships in New York, NY, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
