CLEVELAND, OH – Four members of the University of Rochester swimming & diving team made their final appearances in the pool on day two of the Spartan Last Chance Invitational, hosted by Case Western Reserve inside Veale Natatorium.
Rachele Bachmann and
Natalie Reinhart got the Yellowjackets' day started with the 200-yard butterfly, with Bachmann taking first place with a time of 2:11.47, while Reinhart clocked in at 2:25.56, good for third.
Next up, Bachmann, Reinhart and
Marin Ievers swam a 200-yard medley relay time trial, combining for an exhibition time of 1:58.97.
Max McClung then swam a 100-yard butterfly time trial, looking to improve upon his season-best time and potentially break his own school record. McClung took first in the time trail with a time of 48.92 seconds, a little over half a second off his personal best.
To wrap up the day, Bachmann swam the 200 butterfly again, this time in a time trail and improved her time by half a second, clocking in at 2:10.96, while Ievers clocked in at 57.35 seconds in a 100-yard freestyle time trial.
