University of Rochester women's swimming & diving senior Julia Sides earned University Athletic Association (UAA) Women's Diving Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Sides won both diving events for Rochester on Saturday, helping the 'Jackets defeat SUNY Cortland, 199-100. Sides posted a score of 290.03 points on the three-meter board, earning her first NCAA Regional qualifying score of the season.
 
Later in the day, she scored 249.90 points to claim first place in the one-meter competition.
 
Sides will be back on the boards when Rochester returns to the pool on Saturday, Nov. 7, for a tri-meet against Alfred and Fredonia in Alfred, NY, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
