While at the No. 8 spot, Carlo Caffuzzi took the first game, 17-15, but Wu quickly tied things up with an 11-9 game-two win, and then came from behind to take game three, 11-8 as well.
With things coming down to the wire, Mathew and Li went back-and-forth in the fifth game before the Yellowjacket first-year finished things off, clinching the win for URochester with an 11-9 victory in the fifth game to take the match, 3-2.
Wu then took his match at the No. 8 spot as well, winning the fourth game, 11-6, to give Rochester its second win of the day, this one by the final score of 6-3 over No. 22 Hamilton.
