At UR 2017-18: Junior season saw McCartney play in 16 games...Finished with 2.1 ppg and 1.5 rpg...Added eight assists and seven steals while shooting 12-38 (.316) from the floor and .818 (9-11) from the free throw line...Named All-Academic by the UAA. 

At UR 2016-17: The sophomore appeared in 20 games, staring nine for Rochester...Averaged 2.2 ppg, 2.6 rpg while adding 10 assists and nine steals...Made five 3-pointers on the season and was .667 (16-24) from the free throw line...Scored a career-high seven points at St. John Fisher on Dec. 2, playing 21 minutes...Was named to the UAA's All-Academic team for her efforts in the classroom.

At UR 2015-16: Hit the floor in 21 games during first year on the Yellowjackets squad...Tallied 15 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 6 steals...Recorded a season high 13 minutes played against Oswego State on Nov. 24, scoring four points...Averaged 4.0 minutes per game.

HS: Attended Lansing HS where she lettered in basketball (5 yrs) and soccer (5 yrs) for the Bobcats...Was a team captain a total of five times across the two sports (2x soccer, 3x basketball)...Two-time team MVP on the hardwood...Was a 5-time All-Conference player in soccer, earning three All-State honors...Two-time conference MVP in basketball, also earned Section IV All-Star award as a junior...All-State player in final two seasons and was named 2014 Ithaca Journal Female Athlete of the Year...Scored over 1000 points in basketball career and had 99 career soccer goals...Helped team reached state finals in soccer as a senior and capture league title and reach sectional finals in basketball in 2013-14...Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Twin sister, Maura '19, is also a member of the UR women's basketball team...Daughter of Kris McCartney.
