Biography

At UR 2018-19: Became the third player in Rochester squash history to earn the prestigious Skillman Award from the CSA...Was also a 1st Team All-Liberty League selection and finished 12-9 overall during the season...Qualified for the CSA Individual Championships and reached the semifinals of his Molloy bracket where he was the top-seed...Earned key 3-0 victory over Tom DeMulder (#16 ranked) of Trinity in UR's 6-3 win over the top-ranked Bantams on Jan. 15...Had two wins in the CSA Potter Cup team tournament in February, including a 3-2 win over #10 ranked Aly Abou El Einen in the 3rd place match...Paired with Ashley Davies to reach the semifinals of the US Squash Intercollegiate Doubles Championships.

At UR 2017-18: Finished tied for the team lead with a 14-6 overall record as a junior...Played in matches from #1 through #4 on UR's ladder, with best position being #4 where he was 6-1...Had three wins over nationally ranked opponents and started season with wins in seven of eight matches...Reached semifinals of the Molloy bracket at the CSA Individual Championships, losing to teammate Lawrence Kuhn...Ended season as a 1st Team All-Liberty League selection for the second straight year.

At UR 2016-17: Enjoyed strong rookie season for Rochester, finishing with a 12-6 record overall...Played at #4 throughout the regular season, moving to #3 for the CSA Potter Cup Tournament...Had four wins over natioanlly ranked opponents, including one over Michael Thompson (#42) of Drexel to help UR finish 5th in the nation...Was 3-1 at the CSA Individual Championships, falling just short of earning All-American honors, dropping a 3-1 match to Trinity's Affeeq Ismail in the finals of his Molloy bracket...Was a 1st Team All-Liberty League selection and was 4-time Liberty League Rookie of the Week...Finished the season fifth on UR in victories.

HS: Attended Colegio de Bachilleres in Mexico City, Mexico...Played squash while in school.

Prep: Ranked inside the top-10 of Mexican national squash rankings...Participated in the junior Pan-American games and earned three medals, earning the team gold, silver in doubles and bronze in singles.
