University of Rochester Athletics

At UR 2018-19: Competed in nine meets to close out his collegiate career… His 146.75 points were sixth on the team… Had six first place finishes and a total of 13 top-3 finishes… Set season bests in the 100 back (51.98), 200 back (1:54.20), and 200 IM (1:59.51) at the UAA Championships… Was a part of the 200 medley and 400 medley relays that earned the team best time for the season at the UAA Championships.

At UR 2017-18: Competed in nine events during his junior season and showed tremendous growth for the second year in a row...Was the top performer at UR in the 100 and 200 yard backstroke...Placed 11th in the 100 backstroke and 17th in the 200 yard backstroke at the UAA meet for his best times of the season in both of those events...Also, was a part of the 7th place 200 yard medley relay team and the 15th place 400 yard medley relay team at the UAA meet...Recorded eight top-3 finishes on the year and ranked 6th on the team in total points with 94.

At UR 2016-17: Made strong strides during sophomore season, including being one of the top backstrokers on the team...Finished with the fastest 100 backstroke time (52.71) and was second fastest in the 200 backstroke (1:56.23) and 200 IM (2:01.21) on Rochester this season...Was a part of Rochester's top-3 fastest 200 medley relays...Ranked 6th on the team in total points scored (185.50) and 8th in individual points (124) in 2016-17...Finished on UR's Liberty League winning 200 medley relay which set a new league record time of 1:34.99...Also, was 3rd individually in the 200 backstroke, 4th in the 100 backstroke, 13th in the 200 IM and 19th in the 100 butterfly...Swam on two additional relays which scored for Rochester and helped the Yellowjackets finish runner-up in the team standings...At the UAA Championships, was a part of Rochester's 6th place 200 medley relay and 15th place 400 freestyle relay...Earned 24th place finish in the 100 backstroke.

At UR 2015-16: The freshman enjoyed a solid year on the River Campus...Earned All-Liberty League 2nd Team honors as a part of the 200 medley relay at the Liberty League Championships...Also, finished 5th in the 200 backstroke, 6th in the 100 back, 13th in the 200 IM and 18th in the 200 free at Liberty League's...Posted season best times in the 100 back (53.27), 200 back (1:55.42) and 200 IM (2:01.62) at the UAA Championships, posting the 2nd quickest time by a UR swimmer in the 50 and 200 backstrokes...Finished in 11th place individually in the 200, 19th in the 100 and was on two 'B' relays which ended 14th and 15th at UAA's...Recorded the 7th most points scored individually this season by a UR swimming with 116.

HS: Graduated from Franklin Area HS where he earned four letters in swimming for the Knights...Named team captain and team MVP as a senior...Was a 4-time All-Region selection and 3-time All-State honoree...Personal best of 25.91 in the 50 backstroke and 53.73 in the 100 backstroke...Helped team to state runner-up finish in 2013.
