At UR 2024-25: Indoor: Competed at five meets as a junior during the indoor season...Placed a season-best 13th in the 60-meter hurdles (11.02 sec) at the RIT Indoor Invitational on Jan. 30...Finished 17th a week later in the same event, crossing the finish in 11.18 seconds...Season-best 60-meter hurdle time of 10.91 seconds at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up.
Outdoor: Made six appearances...Qualified for the Liberty League Championships and ran a season-best time of 18.01 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles, leading to a 14th place result...Placed fifth at the Bill Q Invitational at Geneseo and was seventh at the Rochester Spring Twilight in the 100 meter hurdles...Named a Provost Circle Scholar from the University for excellence in the classroom...Received Liberty League All-Acaddemic praise for the second consecutive season.
At UR 2023-24: Indoor:Â Sophomore hurdler ran in six meets...Finished 10th in the 60-meter hurdles (10.80) at the RIT February Friday Invitational on Feb. 9...Also set a new PR in the 60 meters (19th, 9.12) at RIT...Ran a new personal-best time in the 60-meter hurdles (20th, 10.62) the following week at the Nazareth Conference Tune-Up on Feb. 16.
Outdoor: Ran five times outdoors, competing in the 100 meters, 200 meters and 100-meter hurdles...Placed ninth in the 100m hurdles (18.38) at the Brockport Multi & Invitational on April 14...Season-best fifth-place finish in the 100 hurdles at the Geneseo Quad Meet and Multi on April 20, clocking in at 18.19...Part of UR's contingent on Liberty League All-Academic Team.
At UR 2022-23: Indoor: Competed six times...Qualified for the Liberty League Indoor Championships and finished 14th with a time of 10.73 seconds in the 60 meter hurdles...Was top-10 in the hurdles at the Brockport Multi on Feb. 4.
Outdoor: Ran at six meets, including the Liberty League Championships...Finished 15th in the 100 meter hurdles at the conference meet, running a time of 18.08 seconds in the prelims...Was 6th in the 100 meter hurdles at the RIT Invitational, posting a time of 18.78 seconds...Had season-best time of 17.96 seconds in the 100 meter hurdles at the UR Alumni Invitational on Apr. 22.
HS: Middlebury Union HS graduate...Participated in track & field, soccer and basketball for the Tigers...Soccer co-captain as a senior...Earned Most Improved in track & field as a senior and was basketball Coaches Award winner during junior year...Qualified for the New England Championships in the 4x100 meter relay as a senior, earning 4th place in the Vermont Division II race...Was 3rd in Vermont Division II race in the 4x400 meter relay as a junior...Individually placed 3rd in Division II and 5th overall in 2022 state championships for the 100 meter hurdles with PR time of 16.80 seconds...Was top point scorer for MUHS team during 2022 season...U.S. Presidential Scholar, National Merit semifinalist, IB Diploma recipient.
Personal: Parents both attended Rochester and were members of the class of 1995. Mary Heather played women's soccer for the Yellowjackets and Gavin was a member of the men's soccer program.
