At UR 2024-25: Closed out 'Jackets career by competed across five meets during the fall season...Placed 1st in the UR double entry at the Ithaca Cayuga Sprints on Sep. 22...Finished 4th in the Varsity 4+ and 7th in the double at the Head of the Genesee...Contributed to a solid 13th place result among 39 teams at the Head of the Charles in the Varsity 4+ boat...Ranked top-10 in both the double (9th) and 1st Varsity 8 (10th) at the Head of the Fish...Named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.

At UR 2023-24: Another outstanding season on the water, competing in all nine Regattas for Rochester...Appeared in the 1st Varsity 8 boat all eight times that group competed, helping Rochester finished runner-up at the Head of the Genesee, 13th at the Head of the Fish and 25th at the Head of the Charles...UR's 1V also placed 5th at the Liberty League Championships and rowed at the New York State Championships (10th) and NIRC Championships (16th)...Also, was part of UR's top double's boat at the Ithaca Cayuga Springs (2nd of 9) and Head of the Fish (2nd of 19), earning Liberty League Boat of the Week honors following each week of racing...Part of runner-up Varsity 4 boat at the Head of the Genesee...Was named a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, earned Liberty League All-Academic and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors...Named a UR Garnish Scholar in the fall...Elected Phi Beta Kappa during the spring semester.

At UR 2022-23: Was a regular once again in the varsity 8 boat as a junior, competing in 13 races (11 events) during the season...Varsity 8 won gold at the Head of the Genesee, finished 18th at the Head of the Charles and was 7th (top D3 team) at the Head of the Schuylkill...Part of the Liberty League Boat of the Week four times during the season...During the spring, UR's 1V finished 4th at the Liberty League Championships and WPI Donahue Cup...Competed at NIRC Championships in 1V boat...Earned more academic awards, being named a Provost Circle Scholar, Liberty League All-Academic and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large.

At UR 2021-22: As a sophomore, competed nine times, all with UR's 1st varsity 8 boat...Helped the Yellowjacket claim gold at the Head of the Genesee Regatta and earn Liberty League Boat of the Week honors in early October...1V also finished 6th and was the top Division III boat at the Head of the Schuylkill Regatta...Aided in UR's 1V victory over #11 RIT on Apr. 13 and helped the Yellowjackets claim 2nd place at the Liberty League Championships...1V earned 6th at the NYS Championships and 13th at the NIRC Regatta...Honored for academic work by being NIRC All-Academic and Liberty League All-Academic...Earned O'Brien Book Award from Rochester.

At UR 2020-21: The first-year rower made an immediate impact on the Yellowjackets, appearing in three races...Rowed with the UR Novice 8+ boat which ended 1st at the Liberty League Championships and was named Novice Crew of the Year...Was in runner-up N4 boat versus Union on Apr. 17 and William Smith on Apr. 24.

HS: Lettered in cross country and track & field at The MacDuffie School in Granby, MA...Placed 11th at the 2019 CISAC Championships and 6th at the 2019 SENE Championships...Member of the National Honor Society of Dance Arts...President of the National Dance Education Organization...Part of Key Club, Upper School Instrumental Ensemble.

Personal: Father, Christopher LaChance '96, attended Rochester and was a part of the UR rowing program.
