At UR 2011-12: Indoor: Placed 7th in the Mile at the RIT Early Season Opener, running a 4:37.70.
Outdoor: Placed 6th and qualified for the NYSCTC Championships in the 3000m steeplechase after running a 10:24.37 at the Roberts Wesleyan Raider Open Apr. 28.
At UR 2010-11: Outdoor: Was on the winning 4x800m relay team that ran an 8:15.11 at the Geneseo Invitational Apr. 23...Also qualified for the NYSCTC Championships in the 400m hurdles.
HS: Attended Wheatland-Chili HS where he ran cross country, swam and was a member of the track and field team...Team captain in both XC and track his junior and senior seasons...Earned All-County in all three sports as a senior...Personal best of 27:04 in the XC 8k and has run a 4:37 in the mile.
Family: Father Glen Cyganik ('79) attended the University of Rochester and played football and baseball for the Yellowjackets.
