At UR 2013: The senior lefty started nine games for Rochester, compiling a 4-5 record and 2.85 ERA in 53.2 innings...Added in three complete games and two shutouts while allowing 49 hits, 18 runs (17 earned), and 19 walks while fanning 29 batters, 17 of which were looking...Led team in victories, innings, shutouts and batters faced...Ranked 2nd in the Liberty League in batters struck out looking, 3rd in shutouts and 4th in games started...Threw complete game 4-hit shutout at Vassar on Mar. 30 while also firing 6-hit shutout vs Clarkson on Apr. 21...Was effective against left handed hitters, allowing only a .204 batting average on the year...Named to Liberty League's All-Academic team.

At UR 2012: As a junior, King really blossomed into a solid starter on the mound for the Yellowjackets, culminating in his All-Liberty League Honorable Mention selection...He started nine games for UR and was second on the team in ERA (2.47) while posting a record of 2-4...He threw 43.2 innings and allowed 40 hits, 18 runs (12 earned), 23 walks and struck out 27...Ranked third on the team in K's and innings...Allowed opponents to hit just .250 against him...Ranked third in the Liberty League with his 2.23 regular season ERA.

At UR 2011: Went 1-0 with a 6.75 ERA in his sophomore season.

HS: Attended Fredonia HS and earned letters in football, baseball and wrestling...Was named captain of all three teams his senior season...Earned 2nd team All-State in baseball and helped the Hillbillies to the sectional championship and state semi-finals appearance...Baseball and football team MVP as a senior.

Personal: His uncle, Richard King, played football for the Yellowjackets.
