Rochester lost, 3-2, to Brandeis on Saturday morning and finished tied for seventh in the University Athletic Association championships.

The Yellowjackets were ahead 2-1 before the Judges rallied to win a tight fourth game and then won the tiebreaking fifth game.

Rochester lost, 29-31, 31-29, 30-18, 27-30, 10-15. The Yellowjackets are 23-16.

Haley Massa had 16 kills and 32 digs. Susan Johnson had 27 kills. Kate Czarniak had 10 kills. Stephanie Bristol had 30 digs and Liz Loveless had 48 assists.

The Yellowjackets share seventh place with Chicago which was upended by Case Western Reserve.
