University of Rochester women's volleyball senior outside hitter Rylee Bergeron and junior outside hitter Lilly Kraemer earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors for their efforts on the court and in the classroom, as announced by CSC on Tuesday.

The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average, and must have competed in at least 90 percent, or must have started at least 66 percent, of an institution's matches.

Bergeron led the 'Jackets offensively for the second-straight season, tallying 316.5 points en route to Honorable Mention All-University Athletic Association (UAA) honors. In 22 matches played and 21 starts, the junior tallied a team-high 280 points, averaging 3.37 kills per set and a .104 hitting percentage across 83 sets played, to go along with 257 digs, 31 service aces, 16 assists and 8.0 blocks. The Pittsford, NY native tallied 10 double-doubles and ranked fifth in the UAA both kills and points per set, sixth in digs per set, as well as third in attacks per set.

A computer science major with a minor in mathematics, Bergeron was named to the UAA All-Academic squad this season. This past semester, Bergeron did research in linear optimization in AI with Professor Ahmad Almomani, and has also TAed for CSC 173. Bergeron also received the Dean's Scholarship and interned with Xerox over the summer as a software development intern.

Kraemer appeared in all 27 matches for the Yellowjackets, making 20 starts during the 2025 campaign. Over 90 sets played, the junior tallied 98 kills and 134.0 total points, adding 17 service aces and five assists, as well as 44 digs and 31.0 blocks defensively. One of just four 'Jackets to appear in every match, Kraemer set several career-best marks this season, including a career-high five blocks vs. Clarkson on Oct. 18, five digs vs. Brandeis on Nov. 16, and four aces vs. Wheaton (MA) on Sept. 12.

Off the court, Kraemer is a double major in psychology and brain and cognitive science, and was named to the UAA Fall All-Academic Team for the second-consecutive year. The junior also received the Dean's Scholarship, and has done research with Dr. Lisa Starr in the Internalization Disorders and Emotional Adjustment Lab in the URochester Psychology department.

Academic All-District selections will be evaluated by a sub-committee and advanced to the national, All-America ballot, to be voted on by CSC members within their respective divisions.

The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
