Bergeron, Weeks Selected to All-UAA Volleyball Squad

University of Rochester women's volleyball senior outside hitter Rylee Bergeron and junior defensive specialist Lydia Weeks were named Honorable Mention All-University Athletic Association (UAA) for their efforts on the court this season, as announced by the conference on Tuesday.
 
The Yellowjackets wrapped up the 2025 campaign on Sunday, Nov. 16, falling to Brandeis in the UAA 7th-Place match. Rochester finished the season at 4-23 (0-7 UAA), playing several competitive matches in UAA play, taking both Case Western Reserve and Brandeis to five sets, while taking a set from top-seeded UChicago in the UAA Championship.
 
Honorable Mention:
Rylee BergeronRylee Bergeron (SR, OH, #11, Pittsford, NY/Our Lady of Mercy) – 2nd All-UAA honor (2024 HM); Bergeron was the Yellowjackets' top offensive performer, leading URochester with 280 kills and 316.5 total points on 824 total attacks for a .104 hitting percentage. Bergeron also added 31 service aces and 16 assists, while contributing defensively with 257 digs, the second-most on the team, and 8.0 blocks in 83 sets and 22 matches played. The senior started 21 matches and averaged 3.81 points per set, 3.37 kills per set and 3.83 digs per set, ranking fifth in the UAA both kills and points per set, sixth in digs per set, as well as third in the conference in attacks per set (9.93). Bergeron also tallied 10 double-doubles, including a career-high 25 kills to go along with 23 digs in UR's five-setter against Clarkson on Oct. 18, hitting .295 in what proved to be the Pittsford native's best performance of the year. 
 
Lydia WeeksLydia Weeks (JR, DS, #18, Brentwood, CA/Mountain View) – 1st All-UAA honor; A team captain, Weeks was the lone Yellowjacket to play in all 98 sets, appearing in and starting all 27 matches as the 'Jackets libero. The junior Rochester defensively with 375 digs, adding a team-high 37 service aces as well as 65 assists and two kills. Weeks averaged 3.83 digs and 0.38 aces per set, ranking fourth in the UAA in both total digs and digs per set. Weeks tallied double-digit digs in 20 of URochester's 27 contests, 10 games with 15+ digs and four games with 20+ digs, including a career-high 31 against Clarkson on Oct. 18. Weeks also tallied at least one ace in 20 matches, sending over a season-high four aces four different times against Hartwick, SUNY Geneseo, Chicago and RIT.
