WALTHAM, Mass. – Rochester lost to NYU, 3-2, and to host Brandeis, 3-0, on the first day of the University Athletic Association Volleyball Round Robin #2. NYU won, 20-25, 25-19, 23-25, 25-18, 15-12 victory. Brandeis won, 25-12, 25-9, 25-12.

Against the Violets, Kate Lewis had 35 assists. Jessica Rasmussen had 12 kills. Allyson Blair had 10 kills. Emily Hunter had seven kills. Katie Kao had six kills and seven blocks (one solo, six assists). Tayler Schweigel had 33 digs, and Allison Marsh had two service aces.

Rasmussen had eight digs in the Brandeis match.
