Rochester had two individual swim champions and four runnerups in addition to winning both boards in the double dual meet against Case and NYU.
Val Atwood was Rochester's double winner. She was first in the 100 back (1:01.35) and first in the 200 back (2:14.07). Four different people earned runnerup finishes: Karen Meess in the 100 back (to Atwood's winner), Stephanie Bolin in the 200 fly (2:19.14), Dayna Jacob in the 50 free (0:25.45), and Cailee Caldwell in the 100 free (0:55.99).
Meess and Jacob swam on the winning 200 medley relay (1:54.69) along with Jess Indyk and Corinne Lampe.
Caldwell was fourth in the 200 free (2:02.18) and sixth inthe 500 free (5:34.30). Bridget Festa was fifth in the 100 (1:13.30) and 200 breaststroke (2:38.88). Bolin was sixth in the 100 fly (1:04.26) and Lampe was fifth in the 400 IM (4:59.72).
The 400 free relay of Atwood, Caldwell, Meess and Jacob finished third in a time of 3:46.35.
On the diving boards, spread over Friday and Saturday, Sara Spielman won the 1M (214.95) with a personal best score. That puts her in 10th place on the top 10 all-time list. Rachel deLahunta finished in second place vs. Case (205.35).
On the three meter board, deLahunta posted a 225.75 which was good enough for first place against both teams. Spielman had a 219.50, a career best, which puts her second against Case. Megan Braun had a personal best score of 216.6 on the three meter board and Rebecca Baer had a personal best of 187.97.
