CLEVELAND, OH - Rochester finished eighth at the University Athletic Association volleyball championships after a 3-1 loss to Brandeis in the seventh place match.

The Yellowjackets lost to host Case Western Reserve, 3-0 (14-25, 8-25, 19-25) on Saturday morning. That put Rochester against Brandeis in the playoff round. Rochester won the first set, 25-17, but the Judges won the last three, 12-25, 20-25, 16-25.

Kelly Mulrey had 17 kills and 13 digs against Brandeis. Katie Drinkwater had 12 kills. Alma Guevara had three kills, three digs, four blocks, and 26 assists. Casey Larsen had eight kills and seven digs.

Against Case, Guevara and Mulrey had five kills each. Mulrey had six digs. Lauren Bujnicki had eight digs, Sara Ribakove had seven digs, and Larsen had six.
