Seth Davis-Brown scored late in the first half and Rochester made the goal stand up for a 1-0 victory over Clarkson University at Fauver Stadium on late Saturday afternoon.

The Yellowjackets improved to 3-1 on the season. Clarkson is 1-2-1. Rochester plays against RIT in the Community Shield match on Tuesday eveing at Sahlen's Stadium, then hosts Hobart College on Saturday at Fauver Stadium.

Scott Garfing made one save to get the shutout for Rochester. Saverino Spagnolo did not have a save for the Golden Knights.

As the minutes wound down in the first half, Rochester attacked on the left wing. The ball went into the box where it could not be settled. Spagnolo parried it, a defender tried to clear towards the right attacking wing, and Davis-Brown rushed in to head into the top left corner of the net from close range. It was his first goal of the year.
