The University of Rochester department of Athletics and Recreation is excited for the return of students to campus and reengaging varsity team practice activity, consistent with institutional and state guidance related to the pandemic. A phased approach in the resocialization to sport activity will guide the process, with physical distancing in the earliest stages as we work toward more normal practice activity as conditions allow. The competitive schedules have changed as a result of decisions by the University Athletic Association and Liberty League to suspend league competition for the fall season. 

As we follow guidance from New York State on college sports, we are in the process of identifying competitive opportunities for our teams.
