The University of Rochester women's cross country team saw its top five runners place in the first 40 finishers as finished in fourth place at the University of Rochester Yellowjacket Invitational on Saturday morning at Genesee Valley Park.

Host Rochester ended the event with 127 team points in the race, placing fourth among 18 schools that competed. Division I teams Cornell (30 points) and Buffalo (60) were the top-2 schools, with UR's crosstown rival RIT finishing third with 126 points, edging out the Yellowjackets as the top finishing Division III school.

Junior
Icel Sukovaty was Rochester's top finisher, crossing the finish line in 23rd place, posting a 6-kilometer time of 23:40.2. Teammate
Rachel Dennis also cracked the top-30 finishers, placing 28th with a time of 23:46.6.

Sophomore
Grace Iltis ended in 31st place in 23:54.3, while junior
Kelley Foley was 35th, ending with a time of 24:00.8.

UR first-year
Sab Lin was the fifth scorer for Rochester, crossing the finish in 24:07.7, placing 40th.

Ella Wise Bellin (43rd, 24:09.7) and
Caroline Stockwell (50th, 24:17.0) were the Yellowjacket displacers in the event. Senior

Alicia Lawson also had top-75 finishes for Rochester, placing 65th and 70th, respectively.

Overall, 203 runners finished the race. Cornell's Isa Meyers was the individual champion, posting a finishing time of 22:03.8. The top Division III runner ended up being Camryn Menninger of NYU, who finished in 6th place.

Rochester's next meet is next Saturday, with UR running at the Roberts Wesleyan Harry Anderson Invitational.
