ITHACA, N.Y. – Rochester produced some of the nation's best times in women's track & field this season while competing in the Ithaca College Bomber Invitational on Saturday afternoon.. The Yellowjacket entourage also compiled a handful of qualifying times for the 2022 All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships, scheduled for later this fall.

Lisa Pink won the 800 meters in a time of 2:17.16. That's among the top 15 times for that race this year. It is also an AARTFC qualifier. Pink qualified with the 4x400 meter relay as well. The Yellowjackets won the event in a time of 4:09.63. Madeline Vogel led off, followed by Pink,
Annabelle Shanks, and
Megan Bell.

Susan Bansbach won the 200 meters with a Division III Top 20 time of :26.03 (and an Atlantic qualifier). To win, she had to outrun two of her teammates.
Kristin Hardy was third (:26.39, AARTFC-bound) and
Eileen Bequette was eighth (:27.60).
Bansbach's time in the 800 is among the top 20 times this season.

Ashley Heffernan qualified for Atlantics in the trials of the 60 meter hurdles (:09.39). Bequette was fifth in that race (:09.39). In the finals, Bequette was third (:09.63) and Hefferan ran seventh (:10.08). Four women qualified for the finals of the 60 meters: Heffernan (third, :08.07 and an AARTFC qualifier), Hardy (fifth, :08.28), Shanks (seventh, :08.16), and Bansbach (:08.07. AARTFC qualifier). Â In the 60 meter finals, Bansbach was third (:08.03, AARTFC qualifier), Heffernan fourth (:08.13), Shanks fifth (:08.14), and Hardy seventh (:08.18).

Bell, who anchored the winning 4x400 relay, was sixth in the 400 (1:02.60).
Kate Isaac was seventh by the tiniest of margins. She ran a 1:03.142. Ithaca's Emily McGrath was timed in 1:03.149). In the mile run,
Kelley Foley was eighth (5:24.92).

The distance races had
Rachel Dennis and
Icel Sukovaty in the top seven in the 3,000 meters with
Kat Benninger and
Sennett Turner in the top six in the 5,000. Dennis was fourth in her race (10:44.33) with Sukovaty timed in 11:12.00 for seventh. Benninger recorded a 19:11.77 for the 5,000 (fourth overall). Turner was sixth in 19:17.38.

Three women were top seven finishers in the triple jump and two others were top seven in the long jump. In the triple jump,
Alyssa Hoogs was first (11.04 m. – 36'2 ¾").
Zoe Fortin was sixth (10.38 m. – 34'0 ¾") and
Cora Rose seventh (10.25 m. – 33'7 ½"). Bequette finished sixth in the long jump (5.09 m. – 16' 8 ½") with Hoogs seventh (5.03 m. – 16'6").

Gillian Reeder was third in the weight throw (15.06 m. – 49'5") and
Madeline O'Connell was fourth in the pole vault (3.51 m. – 11'' 6 ¼").
