PITTSFORD, N.Y. – Rochester runners scored points in five events – from one of the shortest races [60 meter hurdles] to one of the longest [3,000 meters] – to seize seventh place in the 2022 All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships at the Nazareth College fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.

The Yellowjackets finished with 30 points, good for seventh place out of 47 total teams. Thirty-two of those teams scored at least one point. UR was just behind the College at Brockport (which had 33 pts.) and just ahead of RIT (29.5 pts.).

Scott Sikorski ran a great race to win the 800 meters. His time of 1:52.71 was a meet record and at the time was the fourth fastest time in the event in Division III. Gabe Lundy finished fourth in the 400 meter run (:49.45). James Catania ran to a second place finish in the 3,000 meter run (8:31.87). Peter Brodnik, who ran the second fastest time in the 60 meter hurdle trials on Friday - :08.51 – nearly matched it in the Saturday finals (:08.58, sixth place).

Rochester's 4x200 meter relay produced a clocking of 1:31.33 to finish third overall. The runners were Lundy, Mitch Lienert, P.J. London, and Manny Eribo.
