GENEVA, NY – The University of Rochester women's tennis team completed play at the William Smith Mary Hosking Invitational on Sunday afternoon, taking home two singles titles and finished as runner-up in both doubles flights.
 
Sophomore All-American 
Josephine Libby earned the crown in the A Flight singles competition with two more wins on Sunday, while first-year 
Neha Dania took home the title in the C Flight singles bracket. Both players combined for eight wins in singles on the weekend.
 
Libby posted an 8-1 semifinal win over William Smith's Haley Levine before claiming her title with another strong showing, defeating Catherine Gamble of St. Lawrence 8-2. Dania was an 8-5 winner in the semifinals over Meredith Macy of SLU. In the final, she edged another Saints player, Maya Stepic by an 8-7 score.
 
In other singles action on Sunday, 
Jasmin Toor was defeated in the semifinals of the B Flight bracket, falling 8-3 to Gabby Gato of Union.
 
Two Yellowjackets teams also reached the finals of the doubles brackets. Libby paired with Toor for an 8-6 A Flight semifinal win over Ithaca before being defeated 8-5 by a team from Union.
 
In the B Flight, UR's 
Jaclyn Dron and 
Shreya Mandalapu won their third straight match in the semis against St. Lawrence, posting an 8-3 win. During the finals, a tight back and forth match ended up going in favor of the Ithaca by an 8-7 score.
UR also found success in the consolation brackets on Sunday, with 
Hanna Chin winning the D Flight singles consolation and the pair of Chin and 
Miriana Kelly capturing the B Flight doubles consolation title.
 
Rochester's next and final action of the fall takes place on September 24-26, at the ITA Regional Championships, hosted by Ithaca.
