Despite four event wins and 10 other runner-up finishes, the University of Rochester women's swimming and diving team suffered a 175-124 defeat at the hands of the Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday at the Speegle-Wilbraham Aquatics Center.
Rochester's record slips to 5-4 in dual meet competition on the season with the loss. RIT, meanwhile, moves to 3-2 as the 2023-24 season begins to wind down. Up next for the Yellowjackets is a quad meet at RIT next Saturday, with Nazareth and SUNY Geneseo joining the Yellowjackets at Tigers in the pool to wrap up the regular season. UR will then compete at the UAA Championships in mid-February.
