The University of Rochester squash team ran into the buzzsaw that is top-ranked University of Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon, falling by a 9-0 score at the Lyman Squash Center.

Penn moves to 8-0 on the season with the victory, while UR drops to 1-5.

Through those eight matches, the Quakers have lost just two matches and only 25 individual games.

One of those games lost came in Saturday's match, with UR senior
Arnav Mandhana winning the opening game of his match at number five against Hao Cui. The Penn player rebounded though, winning the next three games to earn the match win.

The rest of Penn's victories on the ladder were all by 3-0 scores. At the top spot, UR's
Yash Fadte took his opponent to 11-9 in both sets two and three, but Salman Khalil earned the sweep. At two, it was a battle of Omar's, as
Omar Zakaria took on Omar Hafez, with Penn's player winning in three games.

Penn's lineup was littered with All-Americans, as the top three in their lineup all have earned College Squash's top individual award throughout their careers.

Towards the back of Rochester's lineup,
Van Inman-Benavente at number six and
Karim Moataz at number eight saw some success in their matches, but ultimately fell after just three games.

The Yellowjackets look to rebound on Sunday, closing out their 3-match weekend hosting Liberty League rival St. Lawrence at 1 pm.
