University of Rochester men's squash junior Dhirren Rajarathinam and first-year Gilberto Aceves Moreno earned Liberty League men's squash weekly honors, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Rajarathinam was named the Performer of the Week, while Aceves Moreno received Rookie of the Week accolades.
 
Rajarathinam was 2-0 for the Yellowjackets over the weekend, playing the No. 2 position for No. 19 Rochester. The junior swept Rohan Paliwal 11-9, 11-8, 11-2 of No. 18 Western on Friday and then provided URochester's only win against No. 13 MIT, defeating Ethan Chan at number two, 11-2, 11-8, 3-11, 11-8.
 
Aceves Moreno played at number one for No. 19 Rochester this weekend and finished with a 1-1 record against No. 18 Western and No. 13 MIT. On Friday, Aceves Moreno won a five-game thriller over Western's Daniel Deverill, winning 10-12, 11-4, 14-12, 9-11 and 11-7. Then on Sunday, he took MIT's number one player, Philip Hyun Su Price, to four games, falling 3-1 (10-12, 11-9, 12-10, 11-4). Overall, the Yellowjackets dropped both matches, falling 5-4 against Western and 8-1 to MIT.
