The awards keep rolling for junior defender
Eileen Harvey of the University of Rochester women's soccer team, as she was named a First Team Scholar All-Region and Second Team Scholar All-America by the United Soccer Coaches this week.

Earlier this month, Harvey was named a Fourth Team All-American by the United Soccer Coaches and has also received First Team All-Region praise from the organization. The junior was also a First Team All-Association pick in the UAA following a strong campaign on the pitch in 2025.

Last season, three URochester women's players earned Scholar All-Region awards and 2025 is the second straight year the Yellowjackets have had a Scholar All-American, with
Natalie Kocsis being named to the Second Team last season. Harvey's Scholar All-Region and Scholar All-America honors are the first of her career on the River Campus.

In 2025, Harvey anchored Rochester's back line defense, helping the Yellowjackets allow just 17 goals in 19 total games. The junior started all 17 regular season games and aided in URochester holding 15 of 19 opponents to one goal or less, including recording ten shutouts on the year.

Additionally, Harvey chipped in a goal in the 'Jackets win over St. John Fisher on September 16. Overall, the defender logged 1,345 minutes played during the regular season, averaging nearly 85 minutes per game.

Academically, the Vienna, Virginia native carries a terrific 3.93 grade point average while working towards her degree in Data Science and Business at the University. She has received the Dean's Scholarship and earned Dean's List honors twice during her Yellowjacket career. In 2025, she also was named UAA All-Academic and earned Academic All-District accolades from the College Sports Communicators.

Harvey also is a member of the National Student Data Corps and Women and Minorities in Computing, has interned at Secretariat International this past summer and has volunteered with the Best Buddies Club and Parkinson Pals organizations.

To be eligible for Scholar All-Region and All-America honors, student-athletes must have a minimum of a 3.40 cumulative GPA, be a junior or above, play a minimum of 75 percent of games, and be seen as an elite player as supported by honors like All-America, All-Region or All-Conference.
