Alvin Su were recognized by the Liberty League with weekly honors for their performances this past week, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Broccolo earned wins in both ends of the doubleheader on Wednesday afternoon against St. John Fisher, combining to toss 10.1 innings while allowing just six hits and one walk while striking out six.

The Webster, NY native did not allow a run in her two outings and held the Cardinals to a .167 average on the day. The junior pitched a complete-game, five-hit shutout in game one, and then threw 3.1 innings of one-hit relief in game two.

Su was the Yellowjackets' top rookie during the weekend, helping Rochester end 12th in a loaded field at the Jekyll Island Invitational in Georgia. Su was consistent, shooting rounds of 74, 72 and 73 to finish in a tie for 33rd place among the 150-golfer field at 3-over par (219) in the competition. The rookie recorded 11 birdies and 1 eagle during the weekend, ranking 17th in the field in total birdies.
