P.J. London were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Men's Track & Field and Cross Country Academic All-District Team, as announced by the CSC on Tuesday.
 
The 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field and Cross Country Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes. To be nominated, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and rank in the Top 50 in the region in a single, individual event on the TFRRS performance lists, or have had a Top-50 individual performance at a 2024 NCAA Cross Country Regional.
 
Lienert competed in several sprints and relays for the Yellowjackets this season, notching top-50 marks in four different events during the indoor season. The graduate student scored his top result in the 200 meters, clocking in at 21.98 seconds, a personal-best mark at the Brockport Invitational & Multi on Feb. 7, the second-fastest 200 meters in the Niagara Region and the 30th-best in NCAA Division III. Lienert also ranked in the top 50 in the 60 meters (13th, 7.01), 400 meters (16th, 49.84) and the 4x400-meter relay (7th, 3:21.88), and took home a pair of All-Liberty League honors at the indoor championships, in addition to USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the 200 meters. Lienert placed second in the 200 meters to earn Second-Team All-Liberty League accolades, and helped UR's 4x400m relay to a third-place result to add an Honorable Mention All-Liberty League medal to his tally. Lienert also helped UR's 4x200m relay set a program record at this year's All-Atlantic Region Indoor Track & Field Championships.
 
Away from the track, Lienert is an optics major with minors in mechanical engineering and classics. A four-time Liberty League All-Academic selection and a three-time Academic All-District nominee, Lienert was awarded a four-year Wilder Leadership Scholarship and the Harvey M. Pollicove Scholarship, and was UR's John Vitone Sportsmanship Award honoree in 2023-24. On campus, Lienert is a member of UR's Optica Student Chapter and has put in over 650 community service hours.
 
Catania finished in the top 50 in the Niagara Region in two outdoor events, the 1,500 meters and 5,000 meters. The senior ran the 12th-fastest 5,000 meters in the region at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships, placing third with a new, personal-best time of 14:36.57 to earn Honorable Mention All-Liberty League honors, while in the 1,500 meters, Catania ranks 45th (4:05.49). Catania also excelled during cross country season, notching Second-Team All-UAA honors with a 14th-place finish at UAAs, and earned a trio of top-10 finishes, including second-place results at both the Yellowjacket Invitational and the Kara Hall Memorial Invitational.
 
A double major in computer science and mathematics, Catania is a three-time Liberty League and UAA All-Academic honoree and received the Xerox award for innovation and information technology. The senior was a workshop leader for several computer science classes on campus and did mathematics research with Professor Mkrtchyan two summers ago. Currently interning with Acting Globally, Catania will return to campus this fall to complete a master's in computer science program.
 
Crocker ranked in the top 50 in the Niagara Region in three events indoors, as well as two events during the outdoor season. The senior finished in the top 20 in the region in the 800 meters both indoors and outdoors, ranking 13th indoors and 15th outdoors, as well as 29th in the 1,500 meters and 42nd in the mile. Crocker also earned a top-three mark in the region as a member of UR's Distance Medley Relay, earning Second-Team All-Liberty League honors with a second-place finish and time of 10:23.99 at the 2024-25 Liberty League Indoor Championships.
 
The Cheyenne, WY native is a three-time Liberty League and UAA All-Academic honoree, was was elected to Phi Beta Kappa this spring. A data science major with a computer science minor, Crocker received the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award and researched Computational Network Epistemology with Professor Jens Kipper. Crocker was also an eight-time Dean's List honoree and graduated magna cum laude, and will be attending the University of Colorado, Boulder this fall to earn his master's in data science, following a summer as an AI Research Intern with the Air Force Research Lab this summer.
 
Competing in both the jumps and sprints, Eribo ranked in the top 50 of the Niagara Region in seven events during the indoor and outdoor campaigns, posting his best finish in the indoor long jump. Eribo ranks seventh in the Niagara Region in the long jump, indoors, with a 7.10m leap, while outdoors, Eribo finished 16th in the event. Eribo also ranked 24th and 25th in the triple jump indoors and outdoors, respectively, as well as 45th in the 60 meters and 46th in the 100 meters. Eribo was also a member of UR's 4x100-meter relay outdoors that finished 10th in the region with a time of 42.30 seconds. The senior earned a pair of All-Liberty League honors outdoors in the 4x100 relay (2nd) and long jump (3rd), and was named the Liberty League Men's Field Performer of the Week once during the 2024-25 season.
 
Eribo double-majored in psychology and brain and cognitive sciences, and is a two-time Liberty League All-Academic honoree, and earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors last year. A member of UR's BSAC and High Distinction, Eribo did research with Dr. Heck in the Minds of the Social World Lab on campus and was awarded a Schwartz Research Discover Grant in 2024. Eribo also volunteered as a K-12 Tutor at the Rochester Boys and Girls Club and plans on pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology following his graduation.
 
London finished the 2024-25 season ranked individually in four different events, as well as one relay. The Orange, CT native ranked 13th in the 100 meters and the 200 meters both indoors and outdoors, as well as 25th in the 60 meters and 10th in the 4x100-meter relay. London earned Second-Team All-Liberty League honors as a member of UR's 4x100-meter relay at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships this season, and also helped Rochester set a pair of relay records in the 4x200-meter relay indoors at the All-Atlantic Region Championships, as well as outdoors in the Sprint Medley Relay at the Colonial Relays.
 
Off the track, London graduates with a major in mechanical engineering and minors in electrical and neuroengineering. A member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, London earned Liberty League All-Academic honors three times and notched his second Academic All-District accolade. London previously interned with NASA and did research at Yale two summers ago, and also did research on campus with Professor Tinelli in 2022 and Professor Glade in the DRIP Lab in 2023, in addition to serving as an RA.
