University of Rochester field hockey senior goalie Kara Houston and football first-year defensive back Brock Miller earned Liberty League weekly honors for the second-consecutive week, as announced by the conference on Monday.

Houston received Liberty League Field Hockey Defense Performer of the Week honors for the second-straight week following a stellar week in goal. The senior combined for 22 saves in what ended up as a 1-1 record for the Yellowjackets. Houston goalkeeper crushed her career-high with 18 saves in a monumental effort against #24 Hamilton on Wednesday, getting credited for a shutout in what was a 1-0 penalty shootout loss. Houston was peppered with 31 total shots against but did not allow a goal in the 80 minutes during the game.

Later in the week, Houston made four saves and allowed just one goal in the Yellowjackets' 4-1 victory over Marywood. The 18 saves against Hamilton are the ninth most in a single game this season in NCAA Division III, and the most by a player who did not allow a goal.

Miller notched Liberty League Football Rookie of the Week honors for the second time in as many weeks after another solid game for the Yellowjacket defense. Miller finished with four tackles and two pass break-ups in Rochester's 30-14 win over SUNY Morrisville on Saturday, contributing to a UR defensive effort that held Morrisville without a score in the second half and allowed just 43 total yards passing.
