Box Score SARATOGA SPRINGS, NY – University of Rochester first-year tennis player 
Hailey Kornbluth ended up being edged out in a thrilling three-set affair in the championship match of the B singles draw at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships on Sunday morning at Skidmore College.
 
Kornbluth was matched up with Neha Saraswatula of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the finals.
 
The URochester first-year ended up getting off to a strong start, winning the opening set 6-4. Saraswatula responded with a 6-4 win in the second, forcing a third set to decide a winner. In the third, Saraswatula ended up completing the comeback with a 6-3 win to claim the B flight title.
 
Rochester's Kornbluth ended the weekend with a solid 4-1 record in singles and 2-1 mark in doubles, also playing in the B flight.
 
With the completion of the ITA Regional Championships, the Yellowjackets conclude their fall playing schedule and will return to action in February for the dual match season in the second semester.
