University of Rochester men's golf sophomore Alvin Su was named both the UAA Men's Golf Athlete of the Week and the Liberty League Men's Golf Performer of the Week, as announced by the conferences on Monday.
 
Su led the Yellowjackets at the Jekyll Island Invitational over the weekend, finishing tied for 6th among 150 golfers in the field with a 10-under par total of 206 for the tournament. Su opened with a 69 on Friday, fired a 67 on Saturday, matching his second-best round ever, and then finished with a 70 on Sunday. The sophomore helped the Yellowjackets place 22nd in a stacked field at the Jekyll Island Tournament, which featured more than a dozen nationally-ranked teams.
 
Su earns UAA Athlete of the Week honors for the second time this season, and Liberty League Performer of the Week honors for the third time.
