University of Rochester men's golf sophomore Alvin Su scored University Athletic Association (UAA) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week honors, as announced by the conference on Monday.
 
Su, who was also named the Liberty League Men's Golf Performer of the Week, was the tournament medalist (of 35 golfers) for the second week in a row, leading the Yellowjackets to the Liberty League title for the third straight season. Su carded rounds of 71, 70 and 65 to finish at 8-under par (208) for the 54-hole event. He ended up winning the tournament medalist honors in a playoff, securing the win on the third playoff hole. The sophomore's efforts helped URochester rally on the final day, shooting a team score of 15-under par (273), a new team record, to finish at 7-under for the tournament, placing first among seven teams.
