LA CROSSE, WI – University of Rochester women's track and field junior Nora Chen and first-year Lauren Murphy each earned First-Team All-America honors with their performances on the final day of the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex.

Chen earned All-America honors in the 400-meter hurdles, running in the final after qualifying in Thursday's prelim, while Murphy took home All-America honors in the triple jump. For Chen, it's her 10th All-America honor and her sixth First-Team honor, while Murphy scored her third All-America accolade, and her second First-Team.

Jumping in the second flight, Murphy faulted in her first attempt, before hitting 12.21m with her next jump, one of three jumps which surpassed the first-year's outdoor school record, 12.12m, coming into the weekend.

Murphy improved upon her positioning with a 12.26m leap on her third attempt to advance to the final, where she hit 12.48m on her sixth and final attempt to move into third place and secure First-Team All-America honors with the 'Jackets' highest finish of the weekend.

Murphy is the first Yellowjacket in program history to secure All-America honors outdoors in the triple jump, and the first, first-year to net All-America honors at the Outdoor Championships since Chen in 2024.

Chen ran to a seventh-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles to earn All-America accolades. The junior took third in the prelims on Thursday, and crossed the finish line in 1:01.79 on Saturday in the final to finish seventh and earn her sixth First-Team All-America accolade, and her fourth outdoors.

As a team, the Yellowjackets finished the weekend with eight points to tie for 32nd place, with Wisconsin-La Crosse taking home the team title on their home turf with 53 points. WashU came in second with 42 points, while Johns Hopkins rounded out the top-three scoring teams with 38 points.
