A total of three members of the University of Rochester women's tennis team were awarded All-Association honors for the 2025-26 season, as announced by the University Athletic Association on Wednesday.

Sophomore
Katie Yang was recognized as a first singles recipient, while the senior first doubles duo of
Sanjana Karnam and
Jasmin Toor were honored as well. All three individuals received Honorable Mention accolades.

For Yang and Karnam, both earn their second career All-UAA award, while Toor receives her first All-Conference plaudits in this, her final season with the Yellowjackets. Karnam previously was an All-UAA pick in 2023-24, as an Honorable Mention first doubles selection. Yang received Honorable Mention awards at first doubles last season in 2024-25.

This season, URochester as a team finished with an 8-12 overall record. At the UAA Championship two weeks ago, the Yellowjackets placed eighth, falling in a close matchup to #37 Brandeis in the seventh-place contest. On the year, the 'Jackets took on eight nationally-ranked teams overall and earned key regional victories against teams such as Nazareth, RIT, Ithaca, William Smith and Geneseo. That earned UR a team ranking within Region II by the NCAA.

Honorable Mention
Katie Yang (SO, Hong Kong/IMG Academy (FL)) – 2nd All-UAA honor (2025 HM doubles); Yang started the year as UR's number two singles player before ascending to the top of the lineup for 11 of 20 dual matches, finishing the season with a 7-13 overall record (6-11 dual matches). Yang earned two straight set victories in singles this year and added four wins in marathon three-set matches in dual match competition. Five of her singles opponents were either nationally or regionally ranked.

Sanjana Karnam (SR, Sugar Land, TX/Clements) – 2nd All-UAA honor (2024 HM doubles); Karnam paired with Toor for most of the season as either the first or second doubles duo in URochester's lineup. The senior ended with an 8-8 doubles match record overall, with 15 of those contests (8-7) coming in dual match competition. She was 5-2 at second doubles and 3-6 at first doubles, and won six of her first eight doubles matches during the year. Karnam also appeared in nine dual matches in singles play and went 3-6 this season.

Jasmin Toor (SR, McLean, VA/British International School of Washington) – 1st All-UAA honor; Toor led the Yellowjackets in doubles victories this season, posting a 12-10 overall record. That included an 11-8 record in dual matches, appearing in ten matches at first doubles (3-7) and nine at second doubles (8-1). Her record this year included a seven-match win streak from mid-February to late March. Toor chipped in eight singles wins, second most on the team, in 2025-26, finishing 8-13 overall (8-10 duals).
