University of Rochester men's golf sophomore
Alvin Su was named First-Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA), as announced by the conference on Monday.
Â
Su adds to a growing list of honors that includes Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) PING All-Region II, First-Team All-Liberty League and Liberty League Player of the Year, and becomes URochester's first, First-Team All-UAA golfer since Declan Hickton and Tom Liu both received First-Team accolades in 2020-21.
Â
The sophomore was a Second-Team All-UAA selection in 2024-25 and makes the jump to First-Team honors this season after leading the Yellowjackets with a 71.38 scoring average, breaking his own team record set just last season. Su led the 'Jackets with 13 rounds under par, with a low of 66, and tallied four top-10 results, including three event wins.
Â
Ranked 21st in the latest NCAA Division III Men's Scoreboard/Clippd rankings, the fifth-highest rated golfer in the UAA, Su is a three-time UAA Athlete of the Week and a six-time Liberty League Performer of the Week.
Â
At the UAA Championship in the fall, Su went 2-1 in match play to help the Yellowjackets tie for second place in the conference, topping Second-Team All-UAA selection Brian Hanson, of Emory, as well as NYU's Shray Patel.
