A total of three individuals from the University of Rochester were selected as University Athletic Association Athletes of the Week in their respective sports, as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon.
 
Junior Galen Fowles was named UAA Men's Golfer of the Week, while a pair of sophomores, forward Delia McMullen and goalie Eleni McGuire were honored from women's soccer, receiving UAA Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week awards, respectively.
 
Fowles posted a 3-0 record during the UAA Match Play Championship last week and earned All-Tournament and Tournament MVP honors in the process. The Yellowjacket junior won 3&2 against #6 Emory's Enze Miao, earned a 1-Up win over Ryan Dannegger of #3 Carnegie Mellon and posted a 5&4 win against NYU's Tanmay Chandra to close out the tournament. Overall, Rochester was 1-2 in the event as a team, defeating 3rd-ranked CMU 4-2 while falling to #6 Emory 3.5-2.5 and NYU 5-1.
 
McMullen recorded her second hat trick of the season in a 2-0 week for URochester women's soccer. The sophomore notched all three goals in a 3-0 win over Otterbein University on Saturday, moving the Yellowjackets to 6-0 to start the season. McMullen tallied a season-high six shots, three of which were on goal, in the win on Saturday, playing 49 total minutes. The sophomore also logged 63 minutes in a 2-0 win at SUNY Cortland on Wednesday afternoon.
 
McGuire posted two shutouts in the goal to lead the Yellowjackets on the soccer pitch during the 2-0 week. The sophomore goalkeeper made a season-high six saves on Wednesday in a 2-0 defeat of SUNY Cortland on the road, facing a total of 13 shots against. McGuire added another shutout on Saturday against Otterbein, but was not forced to make a save, with URochester posting a 3-0 win. She only faced three total shots against in the victory.
