Adam Bossert, a rising senior for the men's swimming and diving team at the University of Rochester, has been designated as a Scholar All-American by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America. He is a resident of Ambler, PA and an alumnus of Wissahickon HS.
To qualify for the award, student-athletes must attain a minimum grade point average of 3.50 or higher and post an NCAA provisional or automatic qualifying performance. Bossert provisionally qualified for the NCAAs in the 100 yard breaststroke. He did this at the Liberty League championships in December when he was chosen as the league's Male Swimmer of the Meet.
Also, at the Liberty League Championships, Bossert was named LL Male Swimmer of the Year and set Liberty League records in the 100 breastroke, 200 free relay, 200 and 400 medley relays. He was also champion in the 200 yard breastroke and help the Yellowjacket men to the team title.
