The University of Rochester squash team rolled past #14 ranked George Washington University on Sunday afternoon at the Peter Lyman Squash Center, posting a 9-0 victory.

UR, ranked #5 in the latest CSA poll, has now won three straight matches and is 5-1 on the season. George Washington drops to 5-7 on the season.

Eight of the nine wins for UR came by 3-0 scores.Â

Ricardo Lopez and
Matthew Toth earned their wins in the top-3 on Sunday. Davies won 11-5, 11-7 and 11-4 over Mohammad Al-Terki, Lopez was an 11-4, 11-7 and 11-6 winner over Salim Khan, and Toth ousted Inaki DeLarrauri 11-7, 13-11 and 11-9.

At four, the lone match that went more than three games,
Lawrence Kuhn won 4-11, 11-8, 11-1 and 11-8 over Julian Jervis.Â
Marcus Sim topped Juan Laguna 11-4, 11-4 and 11-3 at fifth position and
Cesar Segundo earned an 11-4, 11-8 and 11-7 win at #6 over Lucas Stauffer.

The bottom third of the order was perfect on the weekend, earning three more wins on Sunday to go with a 3-0 record in Saturday's win over Drexel.Â
Rodrigo Porras earned a win at #7,
Sergio Martin played and swept his opponent at #8 and
Alex Riedelsheimer won 3-0 at #9. Porras remains unbeaten on the season after his 11-5, 11-3 and 11-3 win over Abbas Saeed. Martin defeated Geordie Laird 11-5, 11-8 and 11-8, and Riedelsheimer won 11-8, 11-4, and 11-6 over Idan Hare.

This was the first ever match between GWU and Rochester at the Lyman Center, and pushes UR's record against the Colonials to 8-2 all-time.

UR's next match is Tuesday evening, with the Yellowjackets hosting top-ranked and defending national champion Trinity College at 6 pm.
