LYNCHBURG, Va. – Rochester posted one All-Atlantic Region qualifier and had a total of five Top 50 national finishes at the Dr. jack Toms Invitational for outdor track & field at Lynchburg College. It was the initial outdoor competition for the Yellowjackets this spring.

Peter Brodnik ran a :15.69 in the 110 high hurdles. He was 11
th overall and 33
rd in Division III. That is the Atlantic Region qualifying performances.
Adam Smith was ninth in the 400 meter intermediate hurdles in :58.59. He's a Top 50 performer.

The other Top 50s came in the field events.
Kyle Lane was fifth in the long jump (6.52 meters) and
Frederick Liu was sixth (6.48 m.).
Sam Lorenzetti cleared 13.37 m. in the triple jump (fourth place at the meet) and Lane jumped 12.91 m. to finish fifth.

In the other running events,
James Catania was seventh in the 1,500 meters (4:05.81) and
Daniel Ford was close behind (ninth place, 4:07.18).
P.J. London ran an :11.26 in the 100 meters to finish 12
th.Â
Manny Eribo was 10
th in the 200 meters (:23.34).

James O'Neill placed in two throwing events. On Saturday, he was 12
th in the shot put (12.60 m.).
Dylan Rykert was 10
th in the shot (13.07 m.) and
Ryan Swavely was 13
th (12.46 m.). O'Neill finished ninth in the javelin throw on Friday evening (47.39 m.).
Nolan Ragland was eighth in the hammer throw (45.27 m.).
