The University of Rochester men's soccer will open the 2022 season in Cortland, N.Y. against the SUNY Cortland Red Dragons on Thursday, Sept. 1 at 4 p.m.
 
The Yellowjackets enter their 21st year under Head Coach Chris Apple, coming off a 9-4-4 (3-3-1 UAA) campaign that saw Rochester reach the NCAA Tournament for the fifth-straight season. Apple will be joined by a pair of first-year assistants on the sidelines for the 2022 campaign in Sean Streb and Ben Stein.
 
Following their season opener in Cortland, the Yellowjackets host the Mount Union Purple Raiders for their 2022 home opener on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m. at Edwin Fauver Stadium.
 
UR then heads out on its first of two three-game road trips, visiting Keuka Park, N.Y. for a match against the Wolves on Saturday, Sept. 10, Henrietta, N.Y. for a crosstown showdown against RIT on Tuesday, Sept. 13, and Geneva, N.Y. to take on Hobart College on Saturday, Sept. 17.
 
On Tuesday, Sept. 20, the Yellowjackets return home for a mid-week matchup against SUNY Geneseo at 7 p.m. and then wrap up the week in Grantley, Pa. on Saturday, Sept. 24 against York College of Pennsylvania.
 
Up next, Rochester wraps up the month of September vs. St. John Fisher on Tuesday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at Fauver Stadium, before opening October and UAA play at home against the University of Chicago on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 11 a.m.
 
The Yellowjackets continue conference play in St. Louis, Mo. against Washington University in St. Louis on Sunday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m. CST, before returning home to open their longest homestand of the year.
 
On Friday, Oct. 14, Rochester kicks off its longest home stretch of the year with a conference matchup against Brandeis at 5 p.m. The Yellowjackets then finish off the weekend with another UAA contest vs. NYU on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m., before their Senior Day matchup the following weekend against Alvernia University on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 1 p.m.
 
UR then wraps up the 2022 regular season with a trio of UAA road contests, beginning on Friday, Oct. 28 in Cleveland, Ohio against Case Western Reserve.
 
Rochester visits Pittsburgh, Pa. on the return trip, taking on the Carnegie Mellon Tartans on Sunday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m., before wrapping up the regular season in Atlanta, Ga. on Saturday, Nov. 5 against Emory.
 
Should the Yellowjackets reach it, the first round of the 2022 NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Tournament is slated for Saturday, Nov. 12.
