University of Rochester men's soccer graduate Santino Lupica-Tondo and junior Milos Bisenic, women's basketball graduate Abby Gress and women's soccer graduate Natalie Kocsis were named to the 16th-annual Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team, as announced by the University Athletic Association (UAA) on Thursday.

Created in 2009 by the UAA Presidents Council, originally recommended by the UAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and supported by the Athletic Administrators and the Delegates Committee, the UAA Presidents Council Scholar-Athlete Team recognizes student-athletes who earn First-Team All-Association honors and carry a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher during their playing season.

Additionally, student-athletes must also have completed one full year at their respective institution to qualify.

This year's team comprises 152 student-athletes representing all UAA member institutions across sports, including 21 who were named the most outstanding performer or most valuable player in their sport, and two who were awarded an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship.

Bisenic had a breakout campaign in 2024, culminating in First-Team All-UAA and Second-Team All-Region honors. The sophomore made 15 starts and appeared in all 17 games for the Yellowjackets and led UR with five goals and four assists for a team-high 14 points. A one-time UAA Offensive Athlete of the Week, Bisenic tallied 25 shots (14 on goal) and notched three game-winning goals, the most in the UAA.

Off the pitch, Bisenic was named to both the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District squad and the UAA All-Academic team for his efforts in the classroom.

For the second-consecutive year, Gress was named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Honorable Mention All-American, in addition to garnering First-Team All-UAA and All-Region honors in 2024-25. The graduate student started all 25 games for URochester and led the 'Jackets in nearly every statistical category, averaging 17.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game in 30.0 minutes per contest.

Gress ranked second in the UAA in field goal attempts, third in points per game, fourth in defensive rebounds per game, fifth in points and sixth in field goals made and field goal percentage, as well as 68th in NCAA Division III in points per game, 76th in field goals attempted, 92nd in field goals made and 104th in total points. The graduate student also became just the third student-athlete in women's basketball program history to record a triple-double, notching the feat in a win at William Smith on Nov. 26.

Lupica-Tondo earned his fourth-straight All-UAA honor in 2024, First-Team recognition, as well as Second-Team All-Region honors after another stellar season in net. The graduate keeper played every minute in goal for Rochester, posting a 0.82 goals against average and a 0.806 save percentage. Lupica-Tondo led the UAA in goals against average, save percentage and shutouts, ranking in the top 65 in NCAA Division III in all three categories as well.

A three-time UAA Defensive Athlete of the Week selection, Lupica-Tondo became UR's all-time leader in shutouts and received his third-straight year of recognition on the CSC Academic All-District Team and fourth-straight on the UAA All-Academic squad.

Kocsis earned Fourth-Team All-America honors, in addition to First-Team All-UAA recognition, in 2024, helping the Yellowjackets make their second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance. The senior started all 19 games for the Yellowjackets, logging 1,321 minutes, fourth-most among field players and the most among midfielders and forwards. Kocsis averaged nearly 70 minutes per contest and 81.6 minutes per game against conference foes, tallying two goals and three assists on 14 shots (six on goal).

Off the field, Kocsis was recognized as a Second-Team Scholar All-American by the United Soccer Coaches Association, as well as a First-Team All-East Region Scholar. While for the third-straight year, the White Lake, MI native earned both CSC Academic All-District and UAA All-Academic Team honors.
